Privacy Policy for "Tu Armeria" Application

This Privacy Policy describes how Alberto Hidalgo (hereinafter, "the Developer") collects, uses, stores and protects user information in relation to the Tu Armeria mobile application (hereinafter, "the Application").

By downloading and using the Application, you accept the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

For the proper functioning of the Application, we manage two types of information:

A. Locally stored data (Room Database)

The main functionality of the Application is ammunition inventory management, licenses and consumption. This data is voluntarily entered by the user and is stored exclusively in your device's internal storage using Room Database technology.

This data includes, but is not limited to:

  • Information about weapons licenses and expiration dates.
  • Ammunition and weapons inventory.
  • Consumption records and associated expenses.
  • Images attached to records (invoices, guides, etc.).

Important note: The Developer does not have direct access to this personal data stored in your local Room database, as it resides only on your device, unless you decide to export a backup and share it voluntarily.

B. Technical and usage data (Firebase)

The Application uses third-party services, specifically Google Firebase, to collect non-personally identifiable technical information in order to improve the stability and usability of the app.

This may include:

  • Firebase Crashlytics: System crash reports (error logs) to identify and fix bugs.
  • Google Analytics for Firebase: Aggregated data on how the application is used (most visited screens, session duration) to improve user experience.
  • Device identifiers: Technical data such as device model, operating system version and network operator.

2. Use of Information

The collected information is used for the following purposes:

  1. Functionality: Allow you to manage your inventory, calculate expenses and receive local notifications about license expiration.
  2. Maintenance: Detect, prevent and solve technical problems (crashes).
  3. Improvement: Analyze usage trends to optimize future updates.

3. Device Permissions

To offer all its functionalities, the Application may request the following permissions:

  • Storage (READ/WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE): Necessary to save and read database backups or save images of invoices/guides.
  • Camera: Necessary if the user wishes to take photographs of their documents or inventory directly from the app.
  • Internet: Necessary for communication with Firebase services (analytics and error reporting).

We value your trust in providing us with your personal information. We strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect it. However, remember that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The security of data stored in Room depends largely on the physical security of your mobile device. We recommend keeping your device updated and protected with password or biometrics.

6. Data Retention

  • Local Data: Retained on your device until you uninstall the application or manually delete the data from Android settings.
  • Firebase Data: Retained according to Google Analytics data retention policies (generally 14 months for data associated with cookies or user identifiers).

7. Your Rights and Contact (Access, Rectification and Deletion)

Since most of the data is stored locally, you have full control to modify or delete it directly within the Application.

However, for any privacy-related questions, or if you wish to exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation or objection over any data that may have been processed externally, or to request complete deletion of any record associated with your user in our analytics services, you can contact us.
